Cancellations: we require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations to ensure that we can accommodate other clients effectively. Grace period: we kindly offer a 15-minute grace period for your convenience and understanding. Late fees: if you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, a £10 late fee will be applied to cover the disruption and inconvenience caused to the day's schedule, helping us maintain our service quality.

3. Health & comfort

Matted coats: we prioritise "humanity over vanity" in every aspect of our grooming services. If a coat is found to be heavily matted, which can lead to discomfort and skin issues, we may unfortunately require a shave-down for the dog's overall comfort and well-being. This necessary procedure will, however, incur an additional fee of £10–£20, reflecting the extra time and care that the grooming process demands.

​To ensure the highest level of safety and the most relaxing experience for your pet, Pawparazzi operates as a "Drop-Off Only" facility. While we understand the desire to stay with your furry friend, we strictly enforce this policy for the following reasons:

​ Safety & Precision

​Grooming involves the use of professional-grade sharp equipment (shears, clippers, and thinners) near sensitive areas like eyes, ears, and paw pads. When an owner is present, dogs naturally try to maintain eye contact or move toward them. These sudden movements significantly increase the risk of accidental nicks or injuries.

 Reduced Stress & Anxiety

​Most dogs experience a "protective" or "distracted" instinct when their owner is in the room. This can lead to increased vocalization or restlessness. Without the owner as a distraction, dogs typically enter a "calm work mode," allowing them to bond with the groomer and complete the process much faster and with less stress.

​ Limited Workspace

​As a solo grooming studio, space is optimized for the comfort of the dog and the efficiency of the groomer. Maintaining a quiet, controlled environment allows me to focus 100% of my attention on your pet’s needs and well-being.

​Note on "Peeking": We kindly ask that you do not return early to wait in the grooming area or "peek" through windows/doors. If your dog catches sight of you before the groom is finished, it is often impossible to get them to stand still enough to safely complete the service.

Flea-free environment

To maintain a consistently clean and hygienic salon environment for everyone, including both pets and their owners, if fleas or ticks are discovered during the grooming process, a mandatory flea bath will be administered without exception at an additional cost of £15.
