What are the most common questions your customers ask you about dog grooming or creative dyeing?
Many of our customers often ask about the safety of creative dyeing, the best grooming styles for their dog's breed, or how frequently their pet should be groomed. We're always happy to discuss these topics in detail during your consultation to ensure you're comfortable and informed about every step of the process. Feel free to reach out with any specific concerns!
What important things should customers know or do before they bring their dog in for grooming?
To ensure the best experience for your dog and our team, please be aware of our policies regarding fleas & ticks, matted coats, and booking requirements, detailed below.
What is your flea & tick policy?
At Pawparazzi Pet Grooming, we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, hygienic, and flea-free environment for all our furry clients. To ensure the safety and comfort of every pet in our care, we adhere to the following policy:
Mandatory Treatment: If fleas or ticks are discovered on your pet during the grooming process, a mandatory flea bath will be administered immediately.
Associated Fees: There is an additional charge of £15 for this service. This fee covers the cost of specialized insecticidal products and the intensive sanitation required to deep-clean our equipment and facility.
Limitation of Service: Please be aware that a flea bath is designed to kill external parasites currently on the pet at the time of the groom. It is not a long-term preventative and will not protect your pet from re-infestation once they return to a home environment that has not been treated.
Notification: We will do our best to notify you immediately if parasites are found; however, treatment will proceed regardless to prevent the spread of infestation to other pets in the studio.
What is your matted coat policy?
At Pawparazzi, we prioritize "humanity over vanity." While we always strive to achieve the look you desire, the health and comfort of your pet are our primary concerns.
Shave-Downs: Heavily matted coats cause significant discomfort and skin irritation. If a coat is severely matted, we may require a complete shave-down for the dog's well-being.
Additional Fees: Removing matting is a time-consuming and delicate process that requires extra care and equipment maintenance. A matted coat fee of £10–£20 will be added to the base grooming price.
Safety First: We will not perform painful de-matting on pets where the coat condition is too severe. In these cases, we will start fresh with a safe, short clip.
What are your booking & cancellation policies?
To ensure we can provide every pet with the time and attention they deserve, we enforce the following booking rules:
How to Book: All bookings must be placed by a call or through WhatsApp via our official QR code
Required Forms: A Consent Form and Information Form must be completed in full before your appointment can begin.
Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. This allows us the opportunity to fill the slot from our waiting list.
Late Arrivals: We offer a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without informing us, a £10 late fee will be applied to your service, as this disrupts the schedule for the rest of the day.
What are the requirements for creative studio services?
If you are booking a service at our Creative Station (Colour Pop, Rainbow Upgrade, or Carving):
Patch Test Required: For the safety of your pet's skin, a patch test must be performed at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to check for any sensitivities to our pet-safe, non-toxic dyes.
